Truckmount Steam Cleaning
Our truckmounted carpet cleaning system utilizes hot water extraction (steam cleaning) to remove embedded soil that is trapped deep down in the carpet fibers. Truckmounted hot water extraction which is commonly referred to as steam cleaning, is the sole method 95% of all carpet manufacturers and carpet fiber producers acknowledge as a viable cleaning method. The maintenance brochure published by the world’s largest carpet manufacturer, Shaw Industries, recommends this method because its own research indicates that it provides the best capability for cleaning. In fact, some other methods void manufacturers warranties as they actually damage fibers. They found out that steam cleaning with a truckmount unit adds restorative value to fibers that will extend the expected life and resiliency as much as 50% and allows manufacturers to add years to the life of their product when properly maintained.
Carpet Cleaning Process
Part of providing you with the best carpet cleaning service possible is starting by thoroughly inspecting and walking-through the property with you to address all areas of concern. We clearly explain procedures and processes to help you understand what to expect out of the cleaning.
Set Up & Protection
This is something we feel really sets our company apart. Corner guards are used to protect your walls, moving blankets are used to protect your hardwood floors and our popular Seal-A-Door is used to keep the cold air in during the summer and the cold air out during the winter.
Your carpet will be thoroughly vacuumed with a hepa-filter vacuum to remove bonded dry soil. Removing dry soil is one of the most important steps in the cleaning process.
*If you’re moving out and the property will be empty, we require the carpets to be vacuumed prior to our arrival*
Furniture Moving (Optional)
Due to liability and safety concerns, our crew will not move entertainment centers, dressers or very large/heavy furniture. Sofas, chairs, coffee tables and end tables for example, can be moved. Just let us know what you would like moved and we will do our best to accommodate.
Carpets will be pre-conditioned w/ an eco-friendly cleaning solution to emulsify soil. Pre-conditioning allows for maximum soil suspension. Each home has different types of carpet and we have the knowledge and experience to choose the best products to get the best result.
Carpets will be gently agitated w/ a carpet rake or rotary machine (depending on soil level) to completely break soil and grease away from the carpet fiber. In some cases agitation may not be needed but for heavily soiled carpets this step is vital.
Extract & Neutralize
Once the soil has been suspended, our state-of-the-art truckmount hot water extraction cleaning process (commonly referred to as steam cleaning) will thoroughly flush the carpet pile while also deodorizing. During the extraction process, our powerful truckmount will remove dust mites, allergens and other microscopic pollutants.
The pH is balanced on every carpet and fabric we clean. This is accomplished during the extraction process by using an all fiber rinse which leaves your carpets softer because no soapy residue is being left behind. By properly neutralizing your carpets this also decreases the chance of having issues with spots reappearing. *Be cautious of any company that does not do this or is not educated on the subject*
